Multi-Level Modern Design Transforms the Beverly Hills Dining Icon
LA Eater featured Crustacean Beverly Hills following JH2 Architects' complete redesign of the iconic An family restaurant. The feature highlights our transformation of the 9,800-square-foot space into a multi-level, multi-functional modern restaurant.
Our design incorporates floating walls that shapeshift to accommodate private dining or larger gatherings, tufted gray and pink seating, and a glowing bar surrounded by moody architectural details. The restaurant's enduring underfloor water feature weaves nature through nearly every table, while outdoor patio seating takes advantage of Southern California's year-round weather.
LA Eater praised the complete remodel, noting how JH2 Architects reimagined the space for modern dining while honoring the An family's legacy. From the street-facing design to the intimate bathroom details, every element reflects sophisticated restraint and timeless elegance.
