Located in Beverly Grove, this 3,560-square-foot dual-unit residence showcases our approach to thoughtful expansion, preserving the original first-floor perimeter while building upward to create additional living space and enhanced aesthetic appeal.
Duplex Remodeling in Los Angeles: Two Units, One Cohesive Design
The first-floor perimeter of the home is preserved and extended to upgrade the living spaces, creating more space and enhancing aesthetic appeal.
Upon entrance, beautiful drought-resistant plants line the stairway path up to a Classic Modern Mediterranean exterior of smooth white stucco accompanied by beautifully crafted rustic wooden doors, large glass windows, and warm burgundy awnings.
The master suite at the north-end of the second story portion of the home provides an amazing view of the city, which combines natural light and luxe white tones that allows for the shaping of one’s personal aesthetic or maintaining a minimal vibe.
Walk out of the window-paned doors and arrive at the vista of a bird’s eye view of the large courtyard and juxtaposed wooden paneling that lets in just the right amount of sunlight to lounge about outdoors.
Just inside, sits the large master bath with a dual vanity.
